SHINE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

OBSERVE & ASSIST PRODUCTIONS

SHINE 2022 FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Theatre artists at the beginning of their careers now have the opportunity to observe or assist a seasoned professional throughout a production at Shine. Fellows’ duties will vary widely based on their personal strengths and the director or designer they are paired with.

Directing, choreography, music directing, and stage management opportunities may include observership, dramaturgy, note-taking, and generally supporting the various people in the rehearsal room.

Design opportunities may include observership, research, note-taking, and generally supporting the designer throughout the conceptual and design process.

All Fellows will assist with research and attending production meetings, design meetings, rehearsals and preview performances through Opening Night.

Applications will be considered based on quality of application and date of submission.
If you have done prior work at Shine, it will also be taken into consideration.
